How MelodyQR handles scan analytics, account information and public destinations.
Scan analytics without cookies by default
MelodyQR records scan activity to help workspace owners understand their physical touchpoints. Data can include timestamps, approximate geography, device or browser information, and the selected destination or rule. A scan is not a verified identity or conversion.
Website measurement
We use Cloudflare to measure visits and website performance, plus aggregate events for completed product actions. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies. Website events exclude account identifiers and destination URLs. Browser measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
Accounts and workspaces
Signing in uses the configured identity provider. Your account and workspace membership let MelodyQR determine which resources you can access and what actions you can perform.
Public destinations
Opening a SmartLink can take you to another website with its own privacy practices. Files published as destinations can be accessed through their public links. Workspace owners should only publish content intended for those visitors.
Retention and requests
Scan history and account data serve different purposes and have different retention requirements. The current analytics provider retains events for three months. Archiving a link is not a request to delete account data. Contact contact@melodyqr.com for privacy requests. The complete legal policy is pending launch review.
